Concrete countertops have a wide range of color options to choose from. Color charts as with all colored concrete is a very close approximation to the actual color, this is dependent on variation of material in the concrete mix itself. The countertops are polished to a “glassy” like smooth feel. The type of sealing is a thing of choice. A penetrating sealer is applied to keep things from soaking into the surface on all countertops, this does not affect the look of the countertop. A topical sealer is applied to achieve a glossy look to the countertop. Also, wire mesh is installed to aid in re-enforcement. Concrete countertops are poured at 1.5’’ thick.
